Of course, there had been cases where bold people tried to throw dirt at Beckon of the Red Sleeve and lit the building on fire at night, but they were all hung upside-down outside the building on the morning of the next day.

When Fang Jie walked into Beckon of the Red Sleeve, he instantly saw the crippled old man who was leaning against the wall at a corner and drinking liquor with his eyes squinted. This old man didn’t seem to fit Beckon of the Red Sleeve, but everyone knew how special he was. Even Little Dot who was managing the business for Aunt Xi respected him a lot.

Aunt Xi rarely appeared before people, and Little Dot handled most of the operations. This young girl seemed extremely mature and experienced in this field; even those girls in the building felt like she was qualified. No one doubted that she would become the next boss of Beckon of the Red Sleeve.

Little Dot who was monitoring the business on the second floor saw Fang Jie when he walked through the door, and she smiled subconsciously before she quickly got dispirited.

“This damn guy is actually here!” she murmured angrily before going downstairs.

Fang Jie first walked to the crippled old man and bowed respectfully. “Master!”

The crippled old man nodded and didn’t seem surprised by Fang Jie’s appearance.

“Aren’t you going to say anything to me?” Fang Jie asked.

The crippled old man pursed his lips and said, “You aren’t here for me; why would I have anything to say to you?”

Fang Jie didn’t blush, and he grabbed two liquor bags from Da Quan before saying, “I stole top-tier liquor from Gold-Sharing Duke’s residence. I heard that it is red wine from the west. It isn’t as strong as the northwest liquor, but it has a different taste. It is good to switch it up sometimes.”

“Gifts stolen from others? Only you can do such a shameless thing.” The crippled old man grabbed the liquor bags before pointing behind Fang Jie and saying, “The little boss can devour you with her eyes; be careful.”

Fang Jie turned around and looked at Little Dot who was walking over. He smiled and replied, “Don’t worry; how angry could she be?”

After saying that, Fang Jie waved at Little Dot to greet her. “Little… Ouch! Why did you bite me?”

Little Dot grabbed his hand and bit it with force.

“Speak!” After biting Fang Jie, Little Dot stared at him and interrogated, “Where have you been?”

Fang Jie turned his hand and showed a crystalized bead. He said, “I was trapped in the Martial Arts Academy. Even when I missed you, I couldn’t come and see you.”

“Go away! Who wants to be missed by you?” Little Dot blushed and asked, “You bought it for me?”

Fang Jie shook his head and said, “No… I picked it from an accessory that Gold-Sharing Duke has.”

Little Dot glared at Fang Jie, and it felt like she wanted to devour him in anger.

“You don’t want it?” Fang Jie asked.

“Why not?” Little Dot grabbed the bead and looked at it while saying, “This will be the payment for your tea today.”

“I’m not here only for tea.” Fang Jie got closer and said, “Can I get Ms. Xi to perform the Dance of Flowing Flower and Water Sleeves?”

All the guests in the grand hall were curious about who Fang Jie was after seeing him flirt with the little boss of Beckon of the Red Sleeve. Not many people knew who Fang Jie was, and he hadn’t shown himself in a long time. People already forgot about the young man who shocked the nation by obtaining all nine excellent ratings in the entrance exam of the Martial Arts Academy.

While people chatted among themselves, a window on the third floor opened, and Aunt Xie appeared.

She said, “Fang Jie, come up.”

Beckon of the Red Sleeve instantly turned quiet, and everyone looked at Fang Jie and thought, “So this handsome young man is the no.1 student in the Martial Arts Academy?”

Fang Jie saw the surprised expressions on people’s faces, and he murmured proudly, “Damn, I can’t even keep a low-profile when I want to…”
